Just like employee empowerment is our vision, the Arrows Group Foundation hopes to empower those born into child poverty by focussing on causes like care, education, career readiness and, mentoring programmes.
The Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) gives non-governmental organisations an opoportunity to help the social sector at grassroots level through ‘raising friends and funds’.
After a phenomenal response internally, this year Arrows Group and ICG Medical employees are supporting Udayan Care by sponsoring 56 employees to participate in the ADHM. They will run alongside famous Bollywood celebrities such as BipashaBasu, raising in excess of £3500 in the process.

Today, we were privileged to welcome to our Gurgaon office some of the girls from the Udayan Care home that the Foundation supports. The visit is part of a series of mentoring programs for older children that will run until the end of the calendar year, focused on employment skills, career focus, and building confidence in them.
After a traditional Indian welcome with garlands of flowers, the girls were shown around the office and then set up a VC with Adrian Treacy (Arrows Group COO) and Naveen Naryanan (Global Operations Director) to inspire and motivate them. Truth be told, it was the other way round and they continue to inspire those around them with their positive attitude and outlook, and remind us of why we are doing this.
